Label data · how much protein in a scoop of whey

Whey protein: grams per scoop on every whey label we carry

A whey label comes down to two numbers: grams of protein per scoop and the size of that scoop. Isolates and hydrolysates usually show a little more protein and less lactose per serving; concentrates cost less. The table lists the protein per serving as printed on every whey product we track, so a 24 g scoop and a 30 g scoop are compared honestly.

What to check on the label

  • Protein per scoop and the scoop weight — protein ÷ scoop grams is the real quality number
  • Isolate vs concentrate is printed in the ingredient list
  • Sweeteners (sucralose, stevia) if you avoid them — unflavored tubs have none
